There is so much available for us. God has told us that He has great plans for us – plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). So many beautiful things have been designed into our destiny.
This means that you are capable of being so much more than you are now and having so much more than you do now. These are real possibilities for you. But you need to see them. These possibilities need to come to life in the eyes of your mind.
I want you to know that until you see what is possible for you, you may not be fully motivated to work towards it or even pray towards it. That’s why I want to invite you to work on seeing the amazing things God has put in your destiny.
We typically don’t step up to our potentials and possibilities, until we see a better picture of who we could be and what’s possible.
In our mind’s eye, we need to see ourselves being at the top of our game, seeking God, loving well, living well, healed from that condition, wealthy and influential, making that big pitch, speaking to that desirable audience. We need to see ourselves with that family we desire, that thriving business, that charity organisation we started, that effective ministry, that best-selling book, that beautiful home.
Visualising things vividly in your mind will increase your energy and motivation to work towards them. They will feel so real and this will quicken your faith and will help you to believe that they are possible. It is also an effective way to change your mindset and beliefs.
The thing is, we’re seeing pictures all the time. The things around us are painting pictures in our minds, and many times these pictures are not even reflective of what we desire or what God wants for us.
This is why we need to be proactive about feeding our subconscious with the things we want to see. This is one of the benefits of using vision boards; it helps to give a visual representation of what you want. And you can take this to the next level by visualising things and situations for a few minutes.
So, as a starting (or continuation) point, you can get clear on one thing that you desire and work with that to begin. Like a movie, work with your imagination, see it in your mind’s eye and start creating your world.
